While lot of Covid positive news are on trending… I see Agile is a clear winner in this pandemic. It’s proven loud and clear as a thoughtful productive methodology and a tool. A high time to adopt if you are still on a questioning mode. Pandemic is giving a deep clean to brain tanks and on its possibilities. The additional use cases of the implementation’s impediments and practical challenges are called out and getting nailed at large scale.

Distributed agile is now in beast mode and admitting true globalization. Talent gathering for better cause happening beyond boundaries and for the gatekeepers – leadership team – this is no more a limitation. In return it brings limitless innovation and improvements to the products and services. That’s best use of anyone’s ability to improve everything for betterhood.

Pandemic is conducting digital transformation lesson in a bigger classroom and Agile is NOT an elective subject. Increased attention from the leadership made them realize that agile is not a certification process any more. Success of agile is in the process of rewriting the legacy of the legacy work culture.

Some of the less shouted agile advocacies are now playing lead role. Lights are turned on to one such from agile “Freedom with responsibility of the co-contributors”. Agile to an extend is an arrangement and agreement and definitely not a rule. The given new normal gives bit of life back to the contributors. While conventional wisdom expects to you hatch within stipulated timeframe (8am to 6pm)?? Agile gives a space to breathe and pay better attention to the work on hand.

Agile is beyond IT is the next step. A considerable amount of non-IT sector industries are already adopted but still agile is step child there. Pandemic is in facilitation process to transform them. A global adoption is not far.
