What is cooking? I first heard Tesla was doing it and thought that’s due to semiconductor crisis observed an year back..

However, now companies like Microsoft, Amazon, and Facebook are all forging their paths in this arena. Interestingly, Nvidia has partnerships with both Microsoft and Facebook. What kind of relationship is this? How does Nvidia, as a business, perceive the fact that its customers are developing internal products that might eventually compete with their own? How do they safeguard their intellectual property?

It’s a challenging task to stay aligned with the customer’s focus while innovating faster than them to maintain the business and partnership. This is certainly a mandate in these interesting times of partnerships. It’s a learning opportunity for all of us. Let’s watch how this unfolds.

On the side I am just curious why everyone is building their own chip?
